Spin-In-Place Pipelining (SIPP)

Using a trenchless technology, fiber-reinforced mortars are centrifugally cast applied to the surface of damaged horizontal pipes and manholes, restoring structural integrity, and increasing the useful design life of a collection system. The lining materials are remotely mixed and then pumped to our specially designed in-pipe spinning unit. The application speeds are calculated to accurately apply the designed thickness of the material, creating a fully structural pipe within a pipe.

SIPP Pipe Applications:
Brick
Concrete
Cast Iron
Corrugated Metal
Round
Non-Round

The Solution is Hoerr
Our holistic approach to sewer rehabilitation includes Spin-In-Place Pipelining applications for large diameter culverts and sewer pipes. Lining mortars can be applied with precision to odd shapes and sizes as our experienced applicators employ multiple techniques including pouring, troweling, spraying, and centrifugal/spin casting while maintaining a minimal installation footprint.

SIPP Advantages:

  • Small Footprint
  • Quick Return-To-Service
  • Larger Diameter Pipes
  • Minimal Disruption
  • Fully Structural
  • Protective Coatings
